Hi, I'm Ange. 🌿 Founder of Senovu Skin Care

I didn't set out to build a skincare brand. I set out to find something that actually worked for my skin — and couldn't.

Raised in Sydney, I grew up surrounded by colour, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. But it wasn't until I started experiencing reactions to a few skincare products that I began paying real attention to what I was actually putting on my skin. Ingredient lists that read like chemistry experiments. Fragrances that left my skin red and unhappy. Products that promised everything and delivered very little.

So I started making my own.

What began as a personal necessity — researching formulations, experimenting with botanicals, mixing small batches at home — quietly became the thing I loved most. There was something deeply satisfying about knowing exactly what was in every product, where every ingredient came from, and why it was there.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

Learning how many mainstream products are tested on animals stopped me in my tracks. As a devoted dog mum to the world's most spoiled Pomeranian, I couldn't look away. It became the line I wouldn't cross — not then, not ever. Whatever I created would be cruelty-free. Full stop.

Senovu was born from those two things: a desire to create something genuinely good for skin, and a commitment to doing it without compromising on values.

Being in Australia, I felt a deep pull toward our extraordinary botanical landscape. Australia's native plants — Kakadu Plum, Quandong, Lilly Pilly, Sandalwood — have survived some of the harshest conditions on earth for thousands of years. They're resilient, antioxidant-rich, and quietly extraordinary. The kind of ingredients that don't need to shout.

In our busy, loud, relentless world, I wanted to create something that offered a genuine moment of stillness. Not a 12-step routine. Not clinical promises. Just three considered steps, pure Australian botanicals, and five minutes that belong entirely to you.

Every product is still handcrafted and hand-packed by me, in small batches, in Sydney. That will never change.
